Editorial Policy

Every guide on DB Healthcare & Fitness is researched from trusted public-health sources and peer-reviewed studies, checked by a person before publishing, and updated when guidance changes. We never publish miracle claims, and advertisers or affiliate partners have no say in what we write.

1. Choosing topics

We write about the questions readers actually ask: what to eat, how to exercise safely, and how to build habits that last. We avoid topics we can’t cover responsibly, such as treatment of specific diseases, unless a qualified reviewer checks the article.

2. Sources we trust

In order of preference:

  • Government and international health bodies: World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH, including MedlinePlus and the Office of Dietary Supplements), Indian Council of Medical Research – National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR-NIN), CDC, NHS
  • Systematic reviews and meta-analyses, then individual peer-reviewed studies (via PubMed and journal websites)
  • Recognised professional bodies and university health departments

We link to our sources in each article so you can check them. We don’t use anonymous blogs, product sellers or social media as evidence.

3. Writing standards

  • Answer the question first, in plain language.
  • Describe evidence honestly: “may help” or “research suggests” when evidence is limited, and never “cures”, “guaranteed” or “miracle”.
  • Include safety notes where relevant, such as when to see a doctor or who should avoid something.
  • Keep advice practical: everyday foods, realistic budgets and simple routines.

4. Fact-checking and review

A person checks every article against its sources before it’s published. Articles about medical conditions need review by a suitably qualified professional. See our medical review policy.

5. Use of AI and automation

We may use software, including AI writing assistants and automation tools, to help research, outline or draft articles. AI output is never published without a person checking facts, sources and safety wording. We don’t use AI to invent quotes, reviews, credentials or statistics.

6. Independence from advertisers and affiliates

We earn money from ads and affiliate links. Neither advertisers nor affiliate partners review or approve our content, and a commission never decides what we recommend. Product guides explain how we chose each pick. See our affiliate disclosure.

7. Updates and corrections

We review important guides regularly and show the “last updated” date on each article. If you spot an error, email technicalbalveer@gmail.com with the page link. We’ll check it and correct it promptly, and note significant corrections on the article.

8. External links

We link to other websites when they help you check a fact or learn more. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content. Links to products may be affiliate links, as explained in our disclosure.
